WHALE WATCHING

Through this recreational and experiential program, students will have the opportunity to see the monumental gray whale that arrives in this area each year to give birth and care for their calves during their first months. They will also be able to admire the numerous birds that inhabit the mangroves.
During this day, students will learn about the characteristics, scientific names, lifestyles of gray whales, and the ecosystems in which they live.

According to data from the American Camp Association, "these types of programs help young people develop skills that make them successful throughout life."
